Jackie Cook: Time after time

Time after time is a ‘sort of’ Young Adult Fiction novel; ‘sort of’ because it is a time-shift piece, which takes its chief characters: three badly-behaving young women, back in time to 1960. There they learn what it is, or was, to live the restricted, rule-bound, and yet complicated and even dangerous lives of their grandmothers.

The story turns Nelson - literally - inside-out, as it re-forms its street scapes and social behaviours into how things used to be.
